The School Readiness survey hits the news
For the latest Kindred2 annual school readiness survey, YouGov was commissioned to seek the views of over 1,000 Primary school teachers. In addition, for the first time this year, over 1,000 parents of Reception children were also surveyed. Results revealed a significant difference of perception and understanding of school readiness.
Almost nine out of ten of parents surveyed (89%) say their child was ‘ready for school’ in the Autumn term 2022 while on average, teachers reported that it was nearer half (54%).
The school readiness survey results were reported on by national, regional and local broadcasters and newspapers. A selection of online article can be found below and you can watch Felicity Gillespie, Director of Kindred Squared, discuss the survey here.
