Little Sparks, Big Starts for Early Years Educators
Little Sparks, Big Stars for Early Years Educators is an education programme aimed at tutors and all staff (including Apprentices) working in early years settings. This accredited course highlights the importance of brain development in the early years and the role of the caregiver. The Little Sparks, Big Starts for Health Visiting is also highly recommended for Early Years Educators.
The resources support the following Early Years Educator qualifications:
- NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in an introduction to Neuroscience in Early Years.
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Working in Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator).
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Working with Babies and Young Children Under 2 Years.
These four, flexible and free lessons can be delivered in a group environment as part of staff training days or completed at home individually. The total time it takes to complete all 4 lessons is 7.5 hours. For some lessons, there is the option to take the shorter version.
